Emerald Eyes using Crushed Moodstrick Mineral Pigment

I've been wanting to try out the emerald green Crushed mineral pigment by Younique, and I really like it! iPhone pics aren't the most color accurate things, but you get the idea 😊 I paired Crushed with Infatuated with a little bit of Giddy, and Innocent! Review of Refreshed Rosewater and Brilliant Moisturizing Gel

Ok this is very embarassing showing this picture without makeup, but I just HAD to show how amazing our Refreshed Rosewater and Brilliant Moisturizing Gel are! I have sensitive skin that is VERY prone to redness, as you can see in the before picture. After applying Refreshed Rosewater and Brilliant Moisturizing Gel and letting it sink in for a few minutes, my redness is GREATLY reduced! It smells divine, and just feels wonderful on your skin. I love Younique!

Rose water is a by product of steam distillation, the process that's used to isolate the plant's essential oil. One of the main benefits of rose water is that it acts as an anti-inflammatory, soothing irritated skin, which makes rose water particularly beneficial to people with sensitive skin. Awake Facial Cleanser

I have a confession. Before I became a stay at home mom, I was an esthetician, so I've tried a LOT of products, and that includes facial cleansers.

Facial cleansers are the one thing I'd never spend money on, I'd just get one that was under $10 at the drugstore, because I felt it's sole job was to wash off makeup and give you a clean slate for your other products; serums etc.

I've been using my favorite Garnier one for years, it did  it's job, and it was like $6....so whatevs.

But then, I tried the Awake Facial Cleansers from Younique. HOLY AMAZEBALLS (I never thought I'd say that, but this warrants it!) My face had never felt CLEANER, it was literally squeaky clean! ALL my makeup came off in 1 wash, with my regular cleanser I usually I do 2 washes just to be sure. I just used a dime sized amount, and the cleanser foamed up a TON, luxuriously silky foam....it was so fun massaging it on my face lol.

My face was also glowing, bright, and CALM. I have sensitive skin, and turn red super easily....I'm always red after washing my face with regular cleanser. After using Awake, my skin just looked clean and BRIGHT, with no redness! Plus, it's an awesome liquid silver color :)

I followed it up with Refreshed Rosewater to help keep moisture in and keep my skin calm, then topped all that off with Brilliant Moisturizing Gel.

Smokey Pink

used Moodstruck Mineral Pigments in Feisty, Flirty, and Glamorous to get this smokey pink look on my eyes. I mixed the pigments with some of our Refresh Rosewater to make them super pigmented! Of course I topped them off with our 3D Fiber Lash mascara.....major lashes! I love this look, it looks romantic, almost fairy tale like :) My kids are loving all the colors I've been wearing lately, they think it looks fun lol!

I also used our Brilliance Primer, and Lucrative Lipgloss in Luxe. 

Smokey Eyes and Red Lips

Smokey eyes and red lips! I've always been afraid of red lips, but this year is all about trying new things, and getting out of my comfort zone. My husband teased me, but I liked the red :) 

I used Younique pigments in Curious, Irresistible, and Infatuated! I seriously love this mascara, I usually have majorly short lashes (even with regular mascara you can barely see them) so this Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash mascara rocks my socks!

 You can really see the lashes here, I normally have MAJORLY short lashes, so I have decided to marry my Fiberlashes. Don't tell my husband. I also cut 12" off my hair! I love it, it's so much easier to style now.

 

This has really been speaking to me lately, I have big dreams and I want to start working towards them!

Blue Steel

 Blue Steel! Don't tell me you don't watch Zoolander :P

I've always secretly wanted to wear blue eyeshadow, I've tried a few times to rock a smokey navy look....but I always just looked bruised. It's the same with purples, they always just blended together into an ugly mess.

I applied Feisty all over my lid, then mixed it in with some Refreshing Rosewater to really make it POP and blended that into the center of my lid. I used heavenly all over the crease, and Awestruck was blended into the outer corners and my bottom lid. I really like this look and I plan on doing it again. My 3 year old loved the blue colors too :)
