Younique FOTD!
Can
we say Photoshop in a compact?? Today was the first time I was able to
do a FULL face of JUST Younique makeup! That means Awake Cleanser,
Refreshed Rosewater, Brilliant Moisturizer, Mineral Touch Foundation (my
new FAVORITE!), concealers pigments, blush pigment, eye pigments all topped with our
3D Fiber Lash mascara! My skin has NEVER looked this good, I LOVE
Younique!
Today was also the day I used Glorious Primer for the first time. I admit, I was wary. I've used primers before and have never liked it enough to use it daily. I was also wary as using it as an eye primer.....I've been an Urban Decay Primer Potion girl FOREVER. I didn't think anything would replace it, especially a product meant for face AND eyes.
Well....I am IMPRESSED! It did NOT feel greasy like the previous primers that I've tried and it has actually kept my skin from looking oily. I have very oily skin and I usually have to blot several times a day. I have not had to do that! Maybe it's also because of the Mineral Touch foundation too though :)
As for using it as an eye primer, I was SHOCKED. Even after loving it as a face primer, I figured it still would not be good for my oily lids. I actually tried a color from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette that is my favorite, and it looked the BEST that I had ever seen! Tomorrow I will take a picture showing the difference with Urban Decay Primer Potion and Glorious Primer. Even applying colors wet, I had never seen colors so vibrant, and I'm on hour 9 of wearing my makeup, and still no fading!
I also tried the Mineral Touch Pressed Powder, and the Mineral Touch Cream foundation today. It seems like most people use either/or, but I applied the cream first, then the powder. My facial skin is VERY blotchy red and uneven (yay) and it's waaaaaay darker then my neck. It's always been that way. This was the fullest coverage I've ever got from a foundation, that didn't end up feeling like I SLATHERED on liquid foundation.
This is why I love Younique, I literally cannot say enough good things about them. Their company is amazing, but the products are PHENOMENAL. If I still worked at a salon as an esthetician, Younique would be the products of choice.
I know a lot of people are worried about the price, I was too. But EVERYTHING you get at Younique is major QUALITY. Know what else is good about quality products? You only need a little bit. You only have to use a little bit on ANY quality product. If you have to use a lot of it....it's not good quality.
Awake Facial Cleanser? $39. I would of NEVER thought I'd spend that much money on a cleanser, I was happy with my Garnier for $6. Then I tried Awake, and I was blown away. You literally only need a pea sized amount for your whole face, it lathers and leaves you feeling SQUEAKY clean. I get about 3 months use out of Awake, so breaking it down cost wise is much better.
I can't wait until Fall to see all the new products! :)

Eye Look using Heartbroken, Sexy, and Provoked Mineral Pigment Powder by Younique!
I used a Moodstruck Mineral Pigment Powder in Heartbroken today, and I LOVE it. I think it's my new favorite!
I applied it wet with Refreshed Rosewater all over the lid. In the crease I used Provoked, and on my browbone and tear duct I used Sexy.
And of course, I topped it all off with my FAVORITE 3D Fiber Lash Mascara!
Lip color is Peach Kiss Baby Lips by Maybelline. I love those little balms, they are the perfect amount of color!

Smokey Navy look with Precocious, Risque and Naive
This look is GORGEOUS! I will be trying it out tomorrow! I love how pure the color is with our Moodstruck Mineral Pigments. I've always had a thing for smokey navy eyes, but with regular eyeshadow I could never get the BOLD navy color....it always looked muted or muddy.
With Younique's pigments, the color you see is what you get. There is no fading, muddiness, muted, they are PURE talc free color. Mix some pigment with our Refreshed Rosewater and it turns the pigments into a creamy consistancy, and the color does not budge all day! Sometimes I'll do a bold color like Royal (purple) and add a sheer layer of Sassy (pink) on top so it's a purply pink shadow. Love <3

Emerald Eyes using Crushed Moodstrick Mineral Pigment
I've
been wanting to try out the emerald green Crushed mineral pigment by
Younique, and I really like it! iPhone pics aren't the most color
accurate things, but you get the idea 😊 I paired Crushed with
Infatuated with a little bit of Giddy, and Innocent! My 5 year old loves
it, he says they are "Link Colors" like from The Legend of Zelda lol. I
topped it off with 3D Fiber Mascara! You an get it all at

Smokey Pink
used Moodstruck Mineral Pigments in Feisty,
Flirty, and Glamorous to get this smokey pink look on my eyes. I mixed
the pigments with some of our Refresh Rosewater to make them super
pigmented! Of course I topped them off with our 3D Fiber Lash
mascara.....major lashes! I love this look, it looks romantic, almost fairy tale like :) My kids are loving all the colors I've been wearing lately, they think it looks fun lol!
I also used our Brilliance Primer, and Lucrative Lipgloss in Luxe.

Smokey Eyes and Red Lips
Smokey eyes and red lips! I've always been afraid of red lips, but this year is all about trying new things, and getting out of my comfort zone. My husband teased me, but I liked the red :)
I used Younique
pigments in Curious, Irresistible, and Infatuated! I seriously love this
mascara, I usually have majorly short lashes (even with regular mascara
you can barely see them) so this Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash mascara rocks
my socks!
This has really been speaking to me lately, I have big dreams and I want to start working towards them!

Blue Steel
Blue Steel! Don't tell me you don't watch Zoolander :P
I've always secretly wanted to wear blue eyeshadow, I've tried a few times to rock a smokey navy look....but I always just looked bruised. It's the same with purples, they always just blended together into an ugly mess.
Younique's Moodstruck Mineral Pigment Powders are different. They 100% natural, mineral-based pigment powders consisting of finely crushed minerals that bond to the skin offering long-lasting, sweat-proof coverage. High-quality pigments that do not contain talc or other unnecessary filler ingredients.
That means PURE long lasting COLOR! My Canon Powershot unfortunately has a lens error so I cant use it at the moment, and Iphone pictures are not able to pick up makeup very well. I'm trying it anyway :)
For this look I used Moodstruck Mineral Pigment Powders in Feisty, Heavenly and Awestruck. I applied Feisty all over my lid, then mixed it in with some Refreshing Rosewater to really make it POP and blended that into the center of my lid. I used heavenly all over the crease, and Awestruck was blended into the outer corners and my bottom lid. I really like this look and I plan on doing it again. My 3 year old loved the blue colors too :)
I also used:
Lucrative Lipgloss in Loveable
Moodstruck Glorious Face and Eye Primer
Concealer Powder in Fresh and Fabulous.
